Are you eligible for service with the Force Protection Agency? There are several requirements and disqualifying factors that make potential applicants ineligible for FPA service. Please read below to make sure that none of these restrictions pertain to you before applying.
FPA recruitment is open to eligible applicants of all genders who are not less than 18 years of age and who possess a valid Security Guard Card.
FPA service is prohibited if you have ever been convicted by a civil or military court of any felony, any misdemeanor involving moral turpitude, any misdemeanor involving domestic violence and/or any misdemeanor involving a sexual offense.
Health & Fitness is a crucial part to a FPA Member's success in the FPA. Applicants must be medically qualified for service & we expect all employees to maintain healthy weight standards.
Each Applicant must be ethical, of good moral character and must possess demonstrated leadership qualities and have the ability to deal effectively with people. Such qualities are to be evaluated in terms of the Applicant's age, education, personal and professional background, and military and or civilian management experience as evidenced by their application documents.
To be eligible for service with FPA, Applicants must be a legal resident of the State of California with a valid CA Driver's License and be eligible to work in the United States.
Certain tattoos are authorized as long as they do not go beyond the sleeves of a Polo shirt or go above the crew-neck t-shirt line. Hand, neck and facial tattoos are not authorized. Any tattoos that promote gang affiliation, racism or are generally considered offensive will make you automotaically inegilible. Large Earing holes known as lobe 'gauging' is also an automatic disqualifier. Most operations require FPA employees to be clean shaven/neat hair appearance with few exceptions on a case by case basis.
